J'cans urged to decry culture of crime - News - Go-Jamaica

The Pastor of St Richard?s Roman Catholic Church, Monsignor Michael Lewis is urging Jamaicans not to become comfortable with a culture of crime.

The appeal came as Monsignor Lewis delivered the sermon at today?s funeral service for Tandy Lewis, the former public relations officer at the Post and Telecommunications Department who was killed in October.

Miss Lewis? badly burnt body was found along the Port Royal road a day after she was reported missing from her St Andrew home.

Monsignor Lewis says Jamaicans should not be comfortable with a culture in which dying brutally has become the norm or a culture which says ?informa fi dead.?
